WHAT IS NEW VISION
New Vision Church is a new congregation that was launched on Easter 2009.
Our vision is To Change Your Idea of Church. We realize that many people love Jesus -- but have been hurt by the institutional church. We want to reach out to these people, and all who want a healthy and healing place where you can love Jesus and make a difference in the community.
We believe that the community should be difference because we are here. Our Pack a Bag program supplies weekend meals for 80 students from Shurfod Elementary School. This program has achieved county-wide and national recognition. But above all, it has significantly helped students.
We are a part of the Presbyterian Church in the United States. The Presbytery of Western North Carolina and the General Assembly have provided bot the funds and support to make this ministry possible.
